  The good rating is for the friendly service and the restaurant concept. I loved what they are trying to do. I do not recommend the Chicken Fried Steak, sadly... I am from the south and the gravy was too thick and cold, the steak was thin and too greasy. The sides: corn bread, green beans and bacon were very authentic. I didn't order the BBQ because the restaurant didn't have that mouth watering barbeque smell... I will be back and try another dish.

  Be prepared, there's always a long wait. However the food is delicious. It comes in huge portions, that you can even share with another person. The staff is friendly and it has a very home style comfortable feel. Would definitely recommend to try it out. One thing I also like is how the menus look like newspapers and it feels like if you're in a cabin.

  Very VERY busy restaurant. I would recommend getting here early with the anticipation that you WILL have to wait for a table. Especially during breakfast. Food is awesome. Their chicken fried steak is one of the best I've had. That being sad it's no shocker that their buscuits and gravy are pretty awesome too. I would definitly recommend this place to everyone.... and I do.

  Wow, everything here was great! I will definitely be coming back here again with my family. My chicken fried steak was a little on the chewy side but when I heated it up for leftovers the next day it was perfect. The pepper gravy soaked it up and make it softer I guess. Their tomato bisque soup is amazing and the cornbread went perfectly with it. I can't wait to try their waffles next time.
